What are your initial thoughts about the concept of Literacy with ICT (LwICT)?
I like it. It reinforces a lot of the things I am already doing in my classes. This would take it even further.

What implementation barriers for LwICT do you foresee at Senior Years?
I see infrastructure and lack of funding for technology as a barrier. My school lacks the access to computers to fully implement this contium. School boards must see this as a priority in order for it to work. A lot of PD is also necessary.

What opportunities does LwICT present for Senior Years?
I think it provides the opportunity to integrate the outcomes of ICT with the essential outcomes of the Senior High Curriculums.

What professional learning is required initially to prepare Senior Years teachers to begin to use the LwICT continuum?
Knowledge and understanding of the continium.

What types of ICT are available to you in your school, but not in your classroom?
I do not have a pod of computers for students to use in my classroom, I have to take the class to the lab if I want them to use a computer.

What subjects and grades do you teach and how do you currently use ICT to enhance student learning?
I teach 9-12 Social Studies. I use a Smartboard every day for every class. I also try to use the computer lab as much as I can as long as it is available.
